Pray with your feet – an interfaith march for peace, equality and justice (Rabbis for Human Rights)

Interfaith March for Peace, Equality, and Justice –  مسيرة الأديان – من أجل المساواة والسلام والعدالة  –  צעדה בין דתית למען השלום, השוויון והצדק

In these days of deep divisions in Israeli society, we seek inspiration from Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel and Dr. Martin Luther King, of blessed memory, who serve as examples of courageous religious leadership. They marched together in solidarity, and we will march in Jerusalem for the sake of peace, equality, and justice for all the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve. One week before Jerusalem Day, which has become a symbol of conflict and violence, we will march together – leaders of different religions and traditions, in public spaces that have become a breeding ground for religious fanaticism and violence – calling for peace, partnership, and equality.

The march will depart from Zion Square, Jerusalem, 10.5.2023 at 5:30pm. We will gather for prayer and song at the Jaffa Gate at 7:00pm
