Road to Recovery is an organization of volunteers who drive Palestinians requiring medical treatment – mostly children – from the crossing checkpoints between Israel and the Palestinian Authority to hospitals in Israel. The treatments these patients require are unavailable in the Palestinian authority. All our activities, administration and personnel are completely voluntary. We believe that our assistance, in addition to its humanitarian aspect, generates goodwill, presents a unique opportunity for Palestinians and Israelis to get to know each other, creates hope in this troubled region and contributes to the peace between our peoples.
