Artsbridge now accepting applications for 2016 Summer Leadership Program

 
With spring hopefully around the corner, Artsbridge is now accepting applications for our 2016 Summer Leadership Program. This renowned program will once again take place on the beautiful campus of Buxton School in Williamstown, MA. Motivated high school students between the ages of 15-17 years old will have the unique opportunity to explore their cultural identity while learning skills in communication, conflict resolution as well as critical and creative thinking. All of this takes place in a creative environment that employs an art component where students can choose between visual arts, filmmaking or music. Interviews and selection of students will take place between March and April. The dates for the summer program are July 10th to August 2nd.
 
Music in Common
We are pleased to announce that Music in Common will join Artsbridge this summer-two nonprofits committed to deepening understanding between people through dialogue and cultural diplomacy. Music in Common will be facilitating the music program that will include songwriting, music writing, performance and a music video.
 
Mark your calendars for A Very Special Evening
Save the date for an intimate evening of music with renowned performers, Mira Awad and Yair Dalal. This special event Is part of our 2016 fundraising efforts and will take place Thursday evening, April 7th. More information and invitations will be mailed out shortly.
 
Summer Showcase 2016
This summer, the Artsbridge Showcase will be held at Buxton School on July 31st. The beautiful countryside of Western MA is the perfect backdrop for supporting this year’s students by viewing their artwork, watching their films and enjoying their performances. Why not make a weekend of it and attend our special banquet event the night before the Showcase on July 30th.  This inaugural event will allow you to spend time with our amazing students, enjoy wonderful food and preview this year’s artwork and performances.
