Science Training Encouraging Peace (STEP)

Description

STEP (Science Training Encouraging Peace) is a cross-border, nonprofit organization that uses science diplomacy to build science careers and relationships between Israelis and Palestinians. STEP pairs young Israeli and Plestinian science students (one Israeli and one Palestinian per pair) and helps pay their stipend for the full length of a graduate degree  (two – four years) at an Israeli university.  The students must work, at least weekly, on a joint project throughout their studies.
