Minds of Peace is an organization founded in Israel in 2010 by Dr. Sapir Handelman, a conflict resolution scholar. The organization aims to foster peace between Israelis and Palestinians through a method called “Popular Negotiations.” This approach brings together people from diverse backgrounds to negotiate directly on solutions to the conflict, with the sessions held in public spaces for transparency and visibility. The agreements reached serve two purposes: demonstrating to the public that ordinary citizens can achieve what politicians have failed to do, and applying pressure on political leaders to pursue peace based on these grassroots agreements.
