ALLMEP Thanks Outgoing U.S. Director Kevin Rachlin

After two years of sterling service to ALLMEP and our community of peacebuilders, we are sad to announce that U.S. Director Kevin Rachlin will be leaving ALLMEP as of June 14th. Kevin’s term as U.S. Director saw the passage of the landmark Nita M. Lowey Middle East Partnership for Peace Act. The legislation was the result of over twelve years of ALLMEP advocacy, but Kevin shaped the strategy for perhaps its most important and conclusive stage, as well as leading countless initiatives to bring the work of our community of peacebuilders into the corridors of power in Washington, D.C.

Kevin will be dearly missed by the staff and board of ALLMEP, as well as by our members with whom he worked closely. He will not be going far however, as he is joining our partners at J Street, and will bring the insights and work of the peacebuilding community with him in his efforts to further our shared agenda of peace and equality for Israelis and Palestinians.

ALLMEP will soon announce our new U.S. Director, who is due to start in July and will help to lead the exciting next phase of our organizational growth, as we partner with Congress and the Biden Administration to ensure effective implementation of the Lowey Act, advocate for a multilateral strategy that can unlock its full potential, and continue ALLMEP’s  work in service of our members.
