After a two-year hiatus, ALLMEP returns with our annual regional conference in Jerusalem, Unite the Field!

Every year, ALLMEP’s annual regional conference in Jerusalem unites its community to discuss common challenges and opportunities, gain new insights from experts, and build a sense of field-wide community, all aimed toward action. After a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus, this daylong event is back, offering ALLMEP’s 150+ Palestinian and Israeli member organizations the opportunity to network, learn from each other, and connect with philanthropic and diplomatic partners active in the peacebuilding field.

This year, the conference returns on Tuesday, May 31, and the program is more expansive than ever before: with dual tracks featuring remarks from diplomatic leaders as well as expert panel discussions on topics such as business and tech, women’s leadership, challenges facing today’s youth, and community-led workshops on fundraising, scaling, and alumni activism. The event will also include keynote remarks from Rabbi Michael Cohen and Hiba Husseini.

Panel 1 – Youth & Intergenerational Responsibility
Panel 2 – Women, Peace, & Security
Panel 3 – Peacebuilding as a Tool for Policy Change
Panel 4 – Harnessing Regional Dynamics
Workshop 1 – Scaling the Field
Workshop 2 – Beyond Promoting Diversity: Lessons for Business and the High-Tech Industry
Workshop 3 – Funding the Field
Workshop 4 – Shared Life: From Co-Existence to Co-Resistance

This event is one of the only physical spaces that exists for hundreds of Israelis, Palestinians, Arabs, and Jews—who are often separated and siloed within their own communities and sectors—to connect to the larger movement as well as with other leaders in this work. Unite the Field is set to be ALLMEP’s largest-ever regional event, coming after a prolonged period of enforced separation and at a moment where MEPPA’s resources and the increase in violence and tensions create an urgent need for the field and its allies to come together.
