The Freddie Krivine Initiative runs empowerment, shared society, coexistence, and social equality programs for Arab Israeli children and teens through the sport of tennis. Since 2005, FKI has coached over three thousand marginalized and disconnected youth the sport of tennis. While President of the Israel Tennis Association, Freddie Krivine (1920 – 2005) set up a number of tennis training programmes to bring Jewish and Arab children together. His mission was to enhance and strengthen the values of education, social inclusion, and determination, and to provide the best possible level of fitness for youth. Founded by his daughter in his name, FKII reaches out to youth in socially isolated Arab communities and creates a path for social and economic inclusiveness.
