ALLMEP Partners on Paris Call for the Two-State Solution, Peace and Regional Security: A Three-Day “Civil-Society Mobilization Event” in Paris in June 2025
ALLMEP is proud to serve in a lead role on the steering committee of this important event, The Paris Call for the Two-State Solution, Peace and Regional Security. As the largest network of peacebuilders on-the-ground in Israel/Palestine, we are excited to soon bring many of our members to Paris, and to help shape the content and program.
We are grateful to President Macron and Foreign Minister Barrot for providing an important milestone in the implementation of the groundbreaking 2024 G7 policy on Israeli-Palestinian peacebuilding that ALLMEP and our members advocated for during a three-year global campaign. In Paris, we will work to ensure – as that policy promises – that the ideas, energies, and actions of civil society will be “coordinated and institutionalized,” and integrated into a “larger strategy to build the foundation necessary for a negotiated and lasting Israeli-Palestinian peace.”
One of the core goals of the conference – and a longstanding priority for ALLMEP – is to amplify civil society’s voice, and generate concrete policy ideas, civil society actions, and cooperative projects that can inform the French-Saudi sponsored UN gathering in NYC happening later this month. We hope to use innovative methods and technologies to ensure that the voices and ideas of the many Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders who cannot be in Paris are integrated fully into this process, too. Our aim is to ensure, for the first time in history, that a future diplomatic push for peace will have a bottom-up strategy to ensure support and engagement from the vast majority of Israelis and Palestinians.
It’s an exciting moment, a moment our field has long been preparing for. Follow ALLMEP for more over the next few weeks!
