Ruth Jarmul

Ruth Jarmul serves as special advisor to the New York Stem Cell Foundation. She previously was a principal of Quantum Media, a leading US consulting firm serving the media, entertainment and information industries. Before joining Quantum Media, Ruth was co-head of the media practice of the Mitchell Madison Group. Earlier, Ruth served as Dow Jones director of planning and as media advertising manager for The Wall Street Journal. Ruth currently serves on the board of the Friends of the New York City Nurse-Family Partnership. She also has served as an officer, member of the executive committee and board member of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in New York City and a board member of Brown University Hillel. Ruth received a BA cum laude from Yale College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

She lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with her husband, Irvin Rosenthal. They have three daughters, one son-in-law and three grandchildren.
